iPad has iWork that includes Pages (similar and compatible to MS Word) Numbers (Excel) Keynote (Powerpoint)

You can print the document in four ways.

1.Blutooth if you have blutooth printer
    2.Over Wi-Fi if you have Wi-Fi Printer
3.Send the document wirelessly to computer and print it .
4.Copy on SD card and insert SD card to Printer and print. (you need to get camera kit that has SD slot and USB port, its available for $29 only)

I always use iWork on my Mac and it works great you can export documents in MS Word or PDF format.

iWork on iPad is amazing because it has multi gesture feature that makes it easier to use.iWork is going to be the main selling point of iPad.

Yes, it will have a version of Pages (for $9.99), which is Apple’s take on Word. Details are a little sketchy at the moment on printing and syncing.
