This is a beautiful case. It looks classy and professional. The leather and the magnetic latch are both exceptional. Shipping was quick and the price is right. I have been pleased with the case in general, with one exception. After sliding the iPad in and out only 2 or 3 times the leather has loosened up a bit. If I pick up the case – even in the closed position with the latch secured – and the opening happens to be facing down, the iPad starts to slip out. Several times while walking around with the iPad I looked at the case and the iPad had slipped out an inch or two. This is a beautiful case, but be careful, the iPad is too nice to have it drop to the ground!

The slippery iPad needs a case. At first, I purchased the polycarbonate one. I ordered this leather one just to see what it would be like. I thought that I could always return it if I did not like it or if it was not a quality item.
This case is great.The fit is great and it does not detract from the quality iPad. I like it better than the poly-carbon one because it offers more protection and is perfect to carry the iPad around. If you are going to carry the iPad in a briefcase, then that may be another matter and you may prefer the poly-carbon one. I have found that I carry the iPad only – like for example to a Dr. appointment or business lunch meeting, this case is just the thing.
For business, I find the iPad less “geeky” than plopping down a laptop at a lunch appointment. The iPad is much like a big iPhone. Great to show a client a picture or data sheet or chart. A laptop, well, is just more “there” and in the client’s face than the iPad. This leather case is perfect thing to carry into a client meeting and I don’t have to worry as much about the slippery iPad and someone dropping it when I hand it to them.
For $20, it is a great value and the quality is outstanding. Very classy.

May 16, 2010 Update 2 Star Rating
Update after having the case for a month…..be aware that iPad CAN and has slipped out of the case after it stretches a bit. This is due to it loosening with normal use and because the iPad is VERY slippery and smooth. I do admit that I carried the case upside down when it fell out. But, a properly designed case should let the product fall out, no matter how you carry it. I was lucky that there was no damage to my iPad. Until a clasp is added to the top, I am going to have to change my 5 star review to a a 2 star rating. If you have this case, suggest you put a piece of Velcro on the back of the iPad and on the the case to avoid it slipping out accidentally. I found that I have no reason to take the iPad out of the case once I placed it in there thus, the Velcro is no problem. I have emailed the vendor and advised them that they should put a small security strap at the top of the case to better secure the iPad.

I’m very pleased with the quality of the product, especially for $20. The leather is nice, the clasp is magnetic, and the iPad is pretty secure in the case (I was a little concerned it could fall out of the top based on the pictures). The handhold on the cover is useful in certain situations. The inside of the cover is soft enough that I’m not concerned about scratching the screen, but I would not put anything in the little card holders.
The bad:
The border around the screen is too close to the edge. Mine has a small alignment issue in the corner that causes the border to cover a little bit of the screen. It covers maybe 1/2 to 1/3 of the battery indicator and is very annoying. If I had paid more for this I would probably try to get it replaced. But for $20, it’s not with the hassle.
Other than that alignment issue I have zero complaints.

Very professional look for my iPad, I was looking at the Marware Eco-Vue for iPad and because I would have had to pre order it, I chose this one. I am happy with the price and the quality. It would have been nice if there was a way to secure the iPad in the case and prevent it from slipping out so easy. Well that was my first complaint, but after I bought a iPad dock there was no way for the iPad to rest on the dock with the case on, so having ia case that quickly and easily slides out of the top is something I now consider that a plus.

This is just what was hoping for when I ordered a case for my new iPad. It looks very classy and is functional with full access to my iPad without removing it. I love the cushiness, too, my iPad feels very protected. The case will also prop the iPad up and allow for me to leave the house with my wallet items in the case so it’s just me an my iPad! I love my new iPad and I love this case, didn’t even take my iPad out of its original wrapping until the case arrived.
At first I was a little miffed because the product was out of stock longer than advertised when I ordered it, but then the company sent it overnight so it was only a day later than promised. A truly quality product worth more then 2x the price!
