How to make Netflix or any other iPad app run on an iPod touch or iPhone

Sweet little hack here Directions from gumballtech.com Download an iPad app from iTunes. Right-click on it Show In Finder/Explorer. Copy this file to your desktop. Change the extension to .zip. Drag /Payload/_APPNAME_.app to your desktop. With your file transfer program, transfer that to /Applications on your iDevice. When it’s done, run iFile on your iDevice. Go to /Applications. Tap on the blue arrow next to the app you want to run. Change the permissions to root/wheel, RWX/RX/RX. Go into the .app folder, and also change the apps’ executable to root/wheel, RWX/RX/RX. Respring. Try running the app.

    Dude I got all the way to the end and you mumble through the final instructions…. and the final written instructions are also unclear… WTF is the “.app” folder… I was just in the Netflix.app folder… what other .app folder am I supposed to be changing… you’re not clear enough on that…

    Sorry guys, The makers disabled the app. I don’t understand what they mean disabled, I guess change something so iPhone and iPod users wont be able to use it?

    The news was on engadget, aparently, Netflix cares about us so much, that they want us to wait for an app release that doesnt drain batteries.

    One thing I changed that none of the videos changed is the pixel size of the icon from 72×72(iPad) to 60×60(iPhod) Icon looks better…can’t get the app to run though..closes as soon as i open it.

    Wow thanks! I just got Geometry Wars touch to run because of you! Only two problems, the resolutions are different so the ingame text is a little blurry, and it is sorta a little slower in game, but I don’t mind! Thx gwars touch confirmed!
