AsktheTechies.com In this video, D.Lee Beard shows how to run Windows 7 and Mac OS X on an iPad via remote desktop with the LogMeIn iPad app. In this LogMeIn for iPad review, D.Lee demonstrates how it works, the limitations of LogMeIn, it’s ability to connect behind wireless routers, and offers a live demonstration of connecting to both a Windows 7 computer and a Mac OS X Snow Leopard computer. LogMeIn also has an iPhone touch version as well.

teamviewer is much better for private users, it is free for the full version for the non-commercial version
@MusikDroid I think the public release is expected to be the week after Thanksgiving in the USA. It will have AirPrint, but with some limitations on what you can print to with it. I’ll be doing a review of it that should be out in early December. – D.Lee Beard, Host of Ask the Techies
I meant next year.

Hi. Quick question. So I am interested in buying a MacBook Pro, and also and Apple ipad. So what you are saying is, I can run Mac OS X 10. On the iPad for $29.99 and for about a total of $550.00 I can have a Apple touch screen computer? If so I’M IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks a lot!!!
@iComputerWizPro yeah i know that but it still dose not explain why i have to do restore when i connect from away
@MultiGeekster Logmein Disables effects like aero to help with speed
when i used logmein to get to my pc that fucked up my aero and i had to do a restore do you know why….?
@tiborpetrovcic There are some print apps for the iPad (search the iTunes app store for “print”), but all of them have limitations beyond what a typical computer can do. None of them can print directly to a printer; instead, they send the print job to a computer on a network which can then send the file to a printer.
thanks very much, can u tell me if I could print from ipad with wirelles printer???
From Croatia(Hrvatska), thanks again
Very well done, D! Thank you for all your videos.
peace,
Tim
