What’s a good Ipad app for recording an interview?

I need to interview a child and record his or her voice. I then need to be able to clip this interview into pieces to give examples when I do my presentation. Does anyone know of an ipad app that records and alows me to split the recording up, or can be sent to a program on a school computer like Final Cut Express for editing?
