What computer language should I learn when using Cocos2d for Iphone app development?

I want to learn a computer language(I learned Java and Visual Basic in high school so i have some knowledge) for iphone app developing. And after talking to some developers, they say I should use Cocos2d. Now the question is: What language should I learn that goes well with Cocos 2d?

    There isn’t really much choice here. If you want to develop on the iphone, Objective C is the way to go.

    According to the almighty Apple you don’t know how to think, so they chose for you. You have to use Objective C to code apps for iPhone.
