liine.net – In this video, Raw Hedroom (Trapez Enterprises) uses Griid to launch clips in Ableton Live in short jam with Moog Voyager and TouchOSC. The core Griid clip launcher is the most fluid and reliable clip grid controller for Ableton Live. If you want the best controller on the market for launching clips, you need Ableton on your mind and Griid on your iPad. griid.net http www.snorkenterprises.com Shot and edited by Anna Leevia

@glimmertwin1977 hahaha ;D
APC40 is great but some are missing the point… a MultiTouch controller like the iPad let’s you change your control interface. You can have an APC40 lookalike or change to any other controller image configuration (Lemur emulator for example). And…. also use it as an iPad (email, skype, web, games, youtube, apps, etc!
thumbs up if you think the moog should go to a more worthy home!
For android?
People are REALLY dumb if they say “I’m sticking with APC40″… it’s just cool the ipad ALSO does this, and it can be handy.
@chuckyfunk1 sigh, you don’t buy a ipad for just controlling ableton…….. you think this guy only use it for ableton? You can do a million things with an ipad. Do people even know what an ipad is? NO it’s not just an ereader etc etc…
its an AMAZING app! And c’mon, IPAD is useful for a milion thousand thing, and APCs are not…
@chuckyfunk1 – but you can’t watch porn on an APC.
@chuckyfunk1 I think the point is that it can be a controller AND so many, many other things. I don’t get the impression that this dude bought them to use as controllers EXCLUSIVELY.
@chuckyfunk1 if you wait a couple of years… maybe 3 im certain you will be able to purchase an ipad for 300
i don’t think touchscreen controllers are the best option for lunching live clips .. you have to be extra careful with you’re fingers all the time …gona keep my apc
@breakbomb1 I have mostly the same except for the graphics card which is Nvidia 520 or something like that. I also run windows at the same time often. I payed about 800 euros. HERP DERP
@waw460 specs on the laptop I’m currently using to type this… 1.6ghz i7, 4gb DDR3 ram, 500gb hard drive, 1080p res, hdmi out, built-in mini-subwoofer, ATI graphics card (1gb), backlit keys. runnins win7 64-bit (hackintosh-able… already got leopard installed on separate partition) I paid $1100 for it a half a year ago. how much would a mac with those specs cost me now (not 6 months ago)?
@breakbomb1 I didn’t say that but I can run several heavy on CPU programs (Ableton, Reason, Logic, Mainstages…) simultaneously live so I am happy with it. It looks good and with education reduction It hardly cost me more than a good PC laptop. And my parents are not rich, I worked for it. =)
@waw460 you damn right! bet I use my PC for way more shit than you with your MAC.
@breakbomb1 PC fanboi alert
this looks like soo much fun!!
@tonyntv apple is for starbucks homos with rich parents. for $500 you can buy yourself a PC laptop that’ll run laps around it. now if the ipad could run a full version of ableton, i’d be impressed.
@chuckyfunk1 – you get a lot more than a controller when buying the iPad…
@chuckyfunk1 you are right bro.
cool but not really for me…
I don’t know dude, $1000 for two ipads? OR $300 for an APC40(+ $50 for nativeKontrol). Cool vid, but no way I’m buying an ipad just to use it as a controller.
ipad is gay
This is really amazing! They’ll never stop!
THIS IS AWESOME!
