I don’t know if these are expert string musicians, but toward the end they are really sucking at playing in tune. Don’t blame the iPad.

the app maybe fun but .. even with four professional musicians, it still sounds awful! I mean the sound recorded or created is out of tune like a car horn. it makes my ears bleed!!

okay at the begining it was okay, but later.. I mean GOD DAAMNN, made my ears bleed

People, obviously it’s not going to be like a real instrument, but it was pretty damn good for being on an iPad. For 3$ on the App store it’s worth it. It’s just for entertainment purposes. They don’t think that they can actually join a real Symphonic Orchestra and play with those. So yea, if you don’t like the way it sounded, don’t spend the 3$, and spend the 500$ on a real violin then and learn something your self.

Violins are the thing of the past. In with iPads! It is somewhat depressing however…

as an analog musician i hated the technology for inventing music instruments like this that are very emotionless and void…

very nice but I’d rather listen to music with real instruments!

You know whats actually better? the real instrument

  17. 17 falltotheforbiden said at 4:27 pm on October 27th, 2011:

because its just not the same on an i pad u go drive around in your toy car and ill drive a real one . one it sounds horrible in comparison and two the feel of real strings is so much then again u cant snap them lol and how would u get the iconic guitar smashing at the end of a hard core clip

  18. 18 pccbassbone said at 5:22 pm on October 27th, 2011:

Why is it the string players are the last ones to accept change? Oh right, because they play instruments built 700 years ago.

awesome app… could use better sound but i don’t expect it to be perfect the first time anyways lol but i must say it is really cool they can do that with technology though and its only going to get better at the expense of getting our brains turned to brown and pink goo lol…

That’s really awesome actually. technology would never be something legit to replace real instruments, but it’s actually really awesome you guys put this together. screw the haters- with a capital screw.
