If I download an app on itunes using my computer and then sync my iphone, does it charge me for data usage?

I want to know if I download things from my computer and transfer it to my iphone if that is counted toward my data usage at all? Is it only considered data when I download an app through my iphone app store?

    It is data usage only if you use the phone to download.

    You only use data if you download directly to the phone.
