Can something bought on the kindle app (on my ipad) be transferred to my kindle?

I am wondering if I bought a book on my ipad using the kindle app, could it be transferred to my kindle?
Also wondering if I can use the same account on both of them.

    Kindle is saying 1 purchase, all platforms.
    You just have to sign in with the same account name and password.
    My wife finds it much easier to find content with the pc then she just signs in with the kindle and it gets all her new books

    No problem. I have a Kindle as well as the Kindle app on my iPad, iPod Touch and two computers. All sync without any problems. Anything purchased through Amazon goes to the Archived Items area. Just go there, select the book and download it to each device. You can also sync bookmarks across devices.
